In the last few years BPO industry has evolved among the biggest
employment generators in India. The industry is widely acknowledged to
put India on global business map with who's who of the World Business
outsourcing their non-core functions to these companies.

The economic downturn did take some sheen off the sector. But with
economy improving, hiring days are back in Indian BPO sector. Despite
US threatening to end tax breaks for companies shipping jobs overseas,
hiring in IT-ITeS still looks strong.

by US-based Kelly Services, a workforce solutions provider, has some
answers. Titled Employment Outlook and Salary Guide, the study looks
