I measured a complete Braille cell as 10 x 6 mm. I could not measure the
dots, it needs delicate instruments. Normally, 2 and half lines require 1
inch in height whereas 4 cells require 1 inch in length. It is a rough
calculation. I use this rule of the thumb for calculating number of lines
and characters while configuring an Index braille printer. It works more or
