Not-for-Profit organizations

Mumbai, India, June 18, 2010: NASSCOM Foundation's  BiGTech programme
which provides latest technology to non-profits in India, has announced
the availability
of Microsoft Office 2010 free of cost for non-profits. To avail of this
donation, NGOs can register free of cost at
www.BiGTech.in.
 
NASSCOM Foundation [NF] is the social development arm of NASSCOM. It
works towards galvanizing the corporate social responsibility (CSR)
space for the IT-BPO
industry in India. BiGTech is NF's key technology philanthropy programme
and through it's partnership with
TechSoup Global,
USA, latest technology is made accessible to non profits with just a
click of a mouse. They receive brand new software and services free, as
donation. It
has five donors - Microsoft, Eagle Conferencing, Bytes of Learning, Busy
Infotech and Quick Heal (anti-virus).  BiGTech has around 880+ NGOs
registered
from across the country and has made available over Rs.6 crores worth of
software donations, including Microsoft Office 2003 and Office 2007, to
non profits.
