Hi Swasti,

Scripts are small functions that perform a defined task when you press a key
combination in JAWS. In simpler words, it is a set of instructions put
together which define the response to an action like a keystroke in an
application. For example, when you press INSERT+T, there's a script in JAWS
to speak the text displayed on the title bar of the current window.

JAWS contains default scripts that are sufficient for several applications.
However, some applications are not fully readable and hence you require more
scripts specific to such applications. These are called custom scripts. JAWS
provides a utility called Script Manager (INSERT+0) that helps you write
your own scripts for any application. A little understanding of programmatic
terms could help you write your own scripts.

Best Regards,
Zujar...
