Go to the bottom of the Gmail in box. You will get a series of links
before the very end. One of the links there is switch to basic HTML
settings and when you click it it would ask if you want that setting to
be your default settings, say yes and you are done.

I can not understand why gmail has brought in about two dozen security
dialogue boxes before one is able to access one's inbox on their site.
I am told that switching to basic html view and setting it as default
solves the problem.
But, I am unable to make it default view.
Any guidance, please.
