Subject: [AI] Training Program to impre the employbility

Dear friends,

The Employment Department of the National Association for the Blind (I), has
planned a training program for 6-8 months to improve the employability of
vision impaired job seekers. It has been observed that in the present
scenario there are ample employment opportunities provided the candidate has
required qualification such as proficiency over English language, both
spoken and written, Communication skills and computer literacy.

However, candidates who are registered with the employment department do not
fully meet the requirement and at times it becomes very difficult to face
the prospective employer. Keeping this in mind, NAB (I), has developed a
training module which will enhance the employability in which the training
would be imparted in Communication Skills both written and spoken, Braille
(English), Personality development and Confidence Building, interview
techniques and Computer Skills.

The Training in orientation and mobility shall also be imparted as per
needs. This is a full time course and will begin in June 2008. To ensure the
sincerity from the trainees, a deposit of Rs.1000 /- shall be taken which
will be returned after the completion of the course. The process of
screening the candidates is on 15th to 17th April, 2008. from 10 a.m. to 5

Anyone who is genuinely interested who cannot make it on these days can
contact the Employment Department for fresh dates. For any clarification,
please contact
