Hello,

Since about 2 years now 2 emails are being circulated without anyone knowing
its authenticity

1. If you have a function/party at your home in India and food gets wasted
, don't hesitate to call 1098 (only in India) - child helpline. They will
come
and collect the food. Please circulate this message which can help feed many
children. PLEASE, DON 'T BREAK THIS CHAIN.

2. If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM
recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in
the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but
unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help
you.

Both the above information is false.

I have personally checked with 1098 for case no.1 and with Police helpline
100 as well as Cyber Crime dept of Police (Mumbai no.) 22641261 and have
confirmed
that these information are misleading and creating problems for the service
providers.

Please pass this information to as many people as possible and help stop
such misleading information.

Thanks & Regards
X Y Z.
