Hi Syed and others,
Keeping laptop on and at the same place where you sleep is not at all safe.
I know one person who's sun has died (yes died) because of accidental
burning in the laptop, the cause was that something in the laptop started
burning while this person was sleeping, and sometimes when burning is slow
or there is not enough oxygen around the burning place, carbon mono oxide is
generated and we know that carbon mono oxide has know smell or no color, it
is difficult to realize that it is present.
The only symtum that I know is the one feels drowsy, which is also the case
when we need to sleep, so it is always better to keep the battery operated
devices away in general and it is almost critical to keep them away when
they are being charged.

I keep my Laptop with me on my bed while sleeping. What I actually do is, I
play some spiritual audio or make Sangeeta synthesiser read some
short-stories untill I fall sleep. As I initiate automatic shutdown (after
1:0 HR or so, the computer will turn itself off after the specified time.
But my question is, does it really affect my health when my laptop doesn't
have internet connection?
